Pardon my French~

i once studied French for 4 years in my boarding school and it was like hell on earth...among the problems for me are the pronunciation that require us to splatter our spits all around and the gender of all the things such as une voiture that is for a (female) car and un stylo that is for a (male) pen...

get it??well personally i dun really get it why a car is feminine while a pen is masculine...(--")

okayy, enough for that part..as i was saying, it was like hell on earth..but among the perks are that we can speak french with each other (although with not perfect pronunciation) and gossip or swear!!yeah, yeah!!it's not that big-a-deal but kids (me at that time) find it amusing!!and some of the swearing words are even mentioned (mention only, not taught) to us by the madame..OMG rite?she's like a super cool teacher that acts just like normal being instead of those goody two shoes..

aaaaaaand back to the story, the muse for this entry is from the Maid in Manhattan movie that i just watched last weekend (for the 2nd time after 5 years)..the part where the two french women were gossiping about J.Lo's white clothes and then the hero suddenly talked french back at them..one of the french women said "Cochon!!!" at him and the two went out of the elevator right....cochon is actually pig in french..lol!!

some of the insults i still remember is;

comme un escargot!!! that means like a snail... usually directed to those who moves or get ready slowly..just like my sis..lol!!but remember, the pronunciation is not similar to the spellings...

comme un escargot = komo (hum a little) eskago

cochon = kosyio (hummmm a little too)

that's all im going to tell you as it's not good swearing!!!!!kids out there, don't swear!!!(contradicting a lil' bit aight)....

oh yeah..do you still remember the movie moulin rouge, where the soundtrack was sang by christina aguilera and three other ppl??still remember???the song was entitled "lady marmalade"...

there's a part from that song that sounds like "Voulez vous coucher avec moi ce soir"...catchy tune isn't it??but the meaning is a no-NO!!it means would u like to sleep with me tonight..SOOO...be careful with ur french oso!!

p.s:this post is not intended to teach ppl how to swear, just a spur of the moment thing~~LOL!
