Correction! It's Tony, not Moby Dick!
That's right ppl~ As we all are well aware of, there's a stranded but now deceased whale in Kuala Penyu on the 2nd of august this week. The whale was named Tony, based on what i've read in the twitter community. The only information of the whale known is that it's definitely a whale! Not a shark, but a whale. LOL! Me being the curious-cat-ish me, detectively as in playing detective and used all of my googling expertise in looking for the information of the whale for my public knowledge.
As far as my googling talent goes, all i know about Tony is that it is most probably belongs to the genus Balaenoptera, as they have black body with white underskin/scale. Soooo much for the self-proclaimed google expert! No help at all.

And thankfully, Tony was later buried in it's very own 17m grave.
It's a fin whale (Balaenoptera physalus). Note the long backswept dorsal fin and the white on the last third of its baleen. It's far too large for either Bryde's or Omura's (which only reach 15 and 11.5 m) and sei whales have a much more upright dorsal fin and lack asymmetrical coloration.
