study for the sake of exams

As i sure positively know most of the university students understand, the term "study" before exams or during study weeks usually means that what we had studied in that short period of time, will vanish as soon as we walk out of the exam hall (well not literally la, maybe within a week or two the latest) if not applied in our everyday's life. No offense to those really honorable students who studies to gain knowledge la

Despite the arguably self-satisfying results obtained in my undergrad years, i am sooooo regretting the last-minute-study-then-forget-then-no-more-recalling-back. Commonly, not all of the terms or theories are needed in your work if it's unrelated such as forest reservation theories used in a wood processing related works. However, in most unlikely situation, like mine, you have to remember back all the pulp and paper production terms used such as the Runkel ratio or the coefficient of suppleness (right? i'm still looking for the definition) even though my field is related more to wood chemistry conversion/bio-materials/value-added products as opposed to pulp and paper even though it's not that far aside as it is still in the wood processing field, but you get my point la kan. And kids, that is where education steps in. LOL!

Therefore, as a reminder to old self and to those who needs reminding, don't waste your time studying for exams but instead enriched your time with studying for life.

P.S: Runkel ratio is the microscopic extension of the wood density, with the wall thickness and lumen width as the basic factors used in determination.
