Scary movies during childhood

I am sure that you all are well aware of the existence of scary movies such as The Ring, Nang Nak, Hantu Kak Limah Balik Kampung, The Shutter and the infamous but not relevant in this entry "Scary Movies", but have you ever heard of.....

the shapeshifter that usually appears in red-haired Clown-form to murder small children, who dwells under the sewer?

The Ice Cream Man?

The only ice cream man who's secret ingredients are human flesh, eyeballs and brains?

Poltergeist 1, 2 and 3?

The story of an obsessed poltergeist who keeps on attempting to kidnap the little girl in the pic via television and telephone. (An interesting but creepy fact from the movie, 4 of the main cast including the girl in the picture died after a few years of the first installation until the last. It is referred to the poltergeist curse maybe due to the use of real cadavers in the first and second movie.)

Most of the movies were produced in the 80's and 90's. And how did i ever encountered these movies? Because my parents was once COOL and lets us watch scary movies with them. LOL! This has brought up some scary nightmares and don't-want-to-sleep-alone incidents during childhood. Awhhhhh, i missed those good all days when wanting a balloon animal from a perky but scary (refer to the first movie) clown was once one of the world's biggest problem.
