Last week, on the 12th and 13th to be exact, we (university students) were given 4 book vouchers worth RM50 each (RM200 altogether) for freeeeeeeeee....
As for me, it was like heaven. Same feeling as if been given RM200 of money because naturally, 80% of my scholarship or angpaos money will be contributed to the nearby bookstore jugak. LOL!
p.s: don't forget to thank the PM ya..
Me, being me,
immediately went to the bookstore on the very next day. DUH! And how
disappointed was i to know that the H (not to be named here)* Bookstore didn't
accept purchase of bukan buku ilmiah. (Even got a sign that listed the
acceptable merchandise that can be bought there lagi). And i straightaway
imagined buying a sack of G'soft pens for the RM200 voucher instead because i
don't want to buy books that i won't read. That would just be a waste of
money.
High in
determination later that day, i went to CP and checked on E* too. And
unfortunately, they too won't let me buy non-educational books. Yalah, the
point of this voucher is to pupuk semangat membaca kan? Why the heck cannot buy
story books also? Right? Hehe! After that, i went to the P* Bookstore and after
finding one of the book in my booklist (the only one left), i decided to just
pay it with my own money. While Q'ing up to pay, the cashier said we can buy
anything as long as it is in the store. I ran to the fiction book shelves right
away after jumping up
and down hearing the good
news.
And bought these;
and
lost 2 vouchers...
the
following week (this week), i bought these;
the book lamp alone is nearly RM30.. Hek hek hek!
The
book Matched and Wither both are futuristic books similar to the Hunger Games
and hopefully are just as awesome! And as for the book lamp, haven't had the
chance in using it yet since i sleep early every night (-_-").....
So
now, there's one voucher left.. Hek hek hek. Gonna hang on to it till the very
last moment. LOL!
Bah,
until then, TTFN~~
p.s: don't forget to thank the PM ya..
