Kundasang trip!

Hello all.

It's April the first already. And nothing much had been done so far. Still haven't finished my thesis, which is pretty stressing. Soooooo, me and my msc buddies decided to take a trip!!

The trip was to Kundasang. Yeayy!!

I know right. Generally as a Sabahan, i should be less enthusiastic about it. Well because, no sabahan's never been there before. Buuuuuuuuut, i do. I haven't been there for a long time. And who can say no to the majestic Mount Kinabalu, right?

So basically, there's 9 of us from my faculty, plus one of my bestie, smelly Elly. And since all of us are self-proclaimed OCDs, the trip was planned perfectly. Or so we thought. Bahahaha!!

Anyhoo, let's forget about the bad and just focus on the good, aight?! In here, i'm going to include pictures of the magnificent places we visited, in which, this honey bee captured herself. Or well, maybe there's some of smelly Elly's too. But mine's by far the prettiest whoever said otherwise will be prosecuted *wink-wink*

 First stop, Pekan Nabalu.

 Second stop, Kinabalu Park!

Come here u chubby squirrel

I lied, i don't have food for youuu

Ppl just finishing the climb. Kudos to u guys.
Third stop, Strawberry Garden Hotel, to look for the strawberries. Hands down, they have the most appealing local strawberry taste i ever had. Sweet and sour, instead of the just usual sour. And the price is pretty okay! Don't forget to get the strawberries with whipped cream and honeyhh. Taste like heaven!

Tempted to pick them

Grapes!!

And more grapes!

 Fourth stop, Poring!!

Smelly Elly at Poring, near the place where we can cook eggs!

Chang buying the tickets for the regretful canopy walkway
Since we couldn't bring cameras along, of we go selfie first before we start the hike in slippers
The canopy walk was terrible! I thought that the canopies was as stable as in the Rainforest Discovery Centre, in Sepilok, sandakan. Unfortunately, it's as unstable as the wifi signal in here. Bahahaha! Nearly cried, but i put on my big girl face and persevere.
THE. LONGEST. 175. METER. WALK. EVER.

Afterwards, we stayed at Kiram's Village, in Mesilau. It was pretty amazingggg!! The scenery was great, where we can see Mt. Kinabalu up close. And it was pretty cold. not pretty la, awfully cold? LOL! The night activity was barbecuing and steamboating, then afterwards i went to sleep, indicating i am an old person. Bahahahha!! I refuse to acknowledge that! However, since we were pretty busy barbecuing that night, i didn't get to take pictures of the place but i manage to take pictures of the floras there.

 I love pretty flowersss!!

Told ya i'm a good photographer

The first stop for Sunday was Mesilau Dairy Farm, but before that, we made out own breakfast first.

Here's our breakfast. The instant noodle tasted amazing thereee.

Then the dairy farm.
