My life =(

(Postgrad student's life, specifically)

When i first started planning on pursuing my master's, i thought that "Hey, it's just like doing your final year project, without the classes and tutorial. And yeah, longer". Boy, was i wrong!

And now, the newest of the newest problem faced today is, conference! For presenting papers and stuff. Since some of the expenses will be funded by the University, why not go right? Yes, easily said than done. 

There's actually a forestry student conference this coming July in a local university in KL, so i thought that would be the most affordable place to go without burdening my parents, obviously. But my SV had another thing in mind. She's insisting me to present my papers at a green material conference somewhere in Europe! Yes, Europe! Location-wise, it would be superb since I've never been there before. However, financial-wise, it would be such a big burden. (Mentioned it before during our after-dinner chats with Dad, literally can hear my Dad gulped). The conference in KL will also be an international conference, same as the one in Europe, so why pick the road less-likely-to-be-taken-since-it's-effing expensive, right? Someday, maybe. When i have my own money to spend. But not now laaa.

So, i finally insisted on going to the KL conference and reassured her that we can go the the foreign one's next year, Insya Allah. So, i started doing my abstract and all within a day and decided to send it to her for proof-reading, so that i don't blind sided her with a sloppy abstract. However, there's still no reply until now (since 8th feb). Bwahhhhhh!!!! the sound of a crying little girl.

Dear Mr Conference in a Local University, please still accept my abstract even though it is waaaayyyy later than the initial dateline (31st Jan fyi).

BWAHHHHH!!!!
