a girl has many problems....
boyfriends..
friends..
weight..
clothes..
shoes..
and last but foremost,
FACE!!!
i have an oily skin!!my skin secretes more oil on the face area than most people..i was actually being indifferent about my skin condition until it started acting up and causes severe acne when i was in Labuan during my college years..as Labuan is sooooo hawt, my skin condition worsens and i sometimes dun even have the mood to mingle with my friends (yes, we smeshians was very close back in KML)..my spirit worsens when i went home and all my aunts and uncles started asking about my acnes and all..in the prime of my teenage years that's always revolve around hormones, i became more sensitive and felt like dying...just felt like it laaa, nvr had any suicide attempts yet..lol!!sooo, one day, me and my friends went to a supermarket there in Labuan and coincidentally stumbled upon a booth that checks what skin types are you..so we tried it and i found out that i have an oily skin..the pros, i'll look younger longer and the wrinkles would develop later if compared to other skin types..the cons??i am very very very prone to acne!!soo the salesperson - yes, they "coincidentally" happens to be a salesperson - promoted this brand product, named Irise to me..
i bought the starter kit and thankfully, it worked wondrous..but later i didn't continued using it as buying it individually without the starter pack is very2 expensive!!hehehe!!and thankfully, my skin condition stabilizes after that, even after changing product to product..only a small matter of blackheads and etc laa...
but now, my blackheads has gone away without the excruciating pain of a facial!!!thanx to Safi Balqis Perfect Ten, oil control if im not mistaken..
wow, local brand!!unbelievable rite??but since i had a few good reviews about it from my sis (who's using Safi Rania Gold at that time and compares it better than SK-II) and a coursemate of mine, i decided to try the teenager version of the brand and chose the Perfect Ten..it work wondrous la for my opinion...
the moral of the story??
go and try ur luck with local brands..it might not be the world's cup of tea but it might be yours, as local brands specializes in our skins, and not theirs...
