in loving memory of a friend i barely knew~~

IN LOVING MEMORY OF NORHAMISAH RAIHANA BT YAHYA

there was a terrible incident that happened during just then hari raya haji..one of my acquaintance and her family went to Pulau Banggi using a boat for that hari raya haji..n suddenly out of nowhere, the boat capsized..only 5 out of 21 ppl survived..and my fren is still lost at sea..

i know some might say it's a taboo to post RIP or in loving memory of- to someone who's just lost at sea.. there might be a chance for her to survive..however,i just read her bro's blog about the truest of the truest thing that happened that day..n i cried my heart out for the 100th time regarding the incident..n my instinct just told me to fess up to the conclusion..

to be frank,i m not that close to raihana..we just went to the same college and university..never knew her name until her boyfriend,who is my coursemate introduced us to each other,n i appreciate that Farid..
we were just smiling friends..whenever we bumped into each other,we'll smile to each other..and being the nature of a nosy and annoying person,i usually kacau2 them whenever there were on a date and if i happened to jumpa them..

even for me who barely knew u,it feels like a dagger just struck my heart,where else the hearts of ur loved ones..1st impression of farid might show ppl otherwise,but from my opinion,he is such a softy at heart..cant imagine how he is feeling right now..i did text him on the 2nd day of the tragedy(2nd day of raya haji) when i just read the news,and he said that he was bingung n dunno what to do..but according to her bro,he did went to kudat and waited patiently for the bodies to be retrieved..and by my opinion,it's best that he didn't see her..let him remember her from the last days of both of them together..

reading the post on her fb walls was so heartbreaking..her last status update was that she was off to the island n she wished all slmt hri raya haji..huhu~i even saw her late sis fb wall full of wishes of their safe returns,just lyk in her wall..and moreover,her birthday was on the 1st of dec,3 days ago,5 days after the incident..and her late sis' was today..wherever u both r,we know that u r in a better place..

so,to the friend i barely knew,raihana..i m praying for your return,even if it was just secara zahir..beause i know u r in a better place..eventually we all will return to our creator,but only the time is different..

p.s:my ustaz once told me that before birth,our fate were already told to us..since we made in to the world,that means we agreed with the fate given to us..this is how she agreed with Allah how her life ended,so kun fayakun..

p.s.s:she did live a great life if she accepted her fate like this..so there should be no regrets..Al-Fatihah to those who did not survive..innalillah wa innalillahi rajiun~~~
